Massage Therapist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly-skilled Licensed Massage Therapist dedicated to providing personalized massage services to our clients. As a Massage Therapist, you will assess client needs and develop personalized sessions tailored to each client. Our goal is to ensure each guest experiences superior customer service and exceptional massage therapy sessions.

Qualifications

• Current massage therapy license from Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
• Proficiency in various massage techniques including Swedish massage, therapeutic massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage and assisted stretching.
• In-depth understanding of anatomy and common sports injuries.
• Interest in learning and mastering the NorthStar style of massage and assisted stretch sessions.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Excellent patient assessment skills to tailor treatments effectively.
• Collaborate seamlessly with spa team members to ensure a cohesive guest experience that aligns with our values.
• Proactively contribute to the team's efforts and foster a positive and supportive work environment.
• Live in New Braunfels or are willing to commute.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and preferences.
• Provide all communication and services with the highest degree of professionalism and transparency to ensure the comfort and safety of both the client and our staff.
• Administer various types of massages, including Swedish, therapeutic, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, aromatherapy massage and prenatal massage.
• Administer assisted stretching techniques when requested with customized sessions.
• Maintain accurate records of treatments and client progress.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients in the treatment area.
• Adhere to hygiene and sanitation standards as set by the spa and regulatory authorities.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to enhance client satisfaction.
