Job Summary

The Massage Therapist is responsible for providing professional massage therapy services to clients to promote relaxation, relieve pain and muscle tension, improve circulation, and support overall physical and mental well‑being. The role requires strong technical skills, professionalism, client care focus, and adherence to hygiene, safety, and ethical standards.

Massage & Treatment Services

• Perform a variety of massage techniques such as:
• Swedish
• Deep tissue
• Sports massage
• Therapeutic / Medical massage
• Relaxation massage
• Assess clients’ medical history, physical condition, and therapy needs before each session.
• Customize treatment plans according to individual client needs and preferences.
• Apply safe and appropriate massage techniques in accordance with professional standards.

Client Care & Experience

• Ensure a welcoming, comfortable, and professional environment for all clients.
• Educate clients on treatment benefits, aftercare, and wellness recommendations.
• Maintain clear and respectful communication with clients at all times.
• Handle client feedback professionally and escalate concerns when necessary.
• Educate clients on post-session care and body maintenance

Hygiene, Safety & Compliance

• Maintain strict hygiene and sanitation standards for treatment rooms, equipment, and linens.
• Follow health, safety, and infection control procedures at all times.
• Comply with company policies, ethical guidelines, and local health regulations.

Administrative & Team Support

• Maintain accurate client records and treatment notes when required.
• Work collaboratively with other therapists, medical staff, or wellness professionals.
• Support appointment schedules and ensure punctuality.
• Participate in training, meetings, and professional development activities.

Qualifications & RequirementsEducation & Certification

• Diploma or Certificate in Massage Therapy from a recognized institution.
• Valid professional license or eligibility for licensing as required by local authorities (e.g., Ministry of Health / Regulatory Body).

Experience

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Massage Therapist (preferred).
• Experience in healthcare, wellness centers, hotels, or spas is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and massage techniques.
