Master and Licensed Electrician

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed Master Electrician to lead and execute complex electrical projects across various settings. Duties

  • Lead electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance on commercial, industrial, and construction sites using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute wiring layouts and system configurations.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair low voltage and high voltage electrical systems in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
  • Program and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to automate industrial processes effectively.
  • Conduct testing using tools such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues and ensure system integrity.
  • Oversee safety protocols on-site, including proper handling of high voltage systems and adherence to OSHA regulations.
  • Mentor apprentice electricians by sharing technical knowledge of schematics, construction practices, and electrical theory.
  • Collaborate with project teams to plan installation sequences, ensure timely completion of projects, and meet client specifications.

Qualifications

  • Valid Master Electrician license combined with a current electrician’s license.
  • Extensive experience as a licensed electrician in industrial or commercial environments.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to electrical systems.
  • Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, and NEC compliance.
  • Skilled in using hand tools such as wire strippers, pliers, screwdrivers; power tools including drills and saws; as well as testing instruments like ohmmeters.
  • Strong background working on construction sites with exposure to renovation projects involving high voltage systems.
  • Knowledge of schematics interpretation for complex electrical wiring layouts.
  • Ability to work safely around high voltage systems while maintaining strict safety standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently.
