[About the Role]

Korea High Tech Michigan Inc. is seeking a licensed Michigan Master Electrician to serve as our Qualifying Officer for operations based in Lansing, Michigan.

This is a pivotal role where you will be the designated license holder enabling the company to obtain and maintain its Michigan Electrical Contractor License for projects primarily located in the Lansing area.

This position is ideal for a seasoned professional looking for a flexible, autonomous role focused on compliance and high-level oversight rather than daily manual labor.

[Key Responsibilities]

License Sponsorship
Act as the Master Electrician of record for Korea High Tech Michigan Inc’s Electrical Contractor License application with LARA, supporting operations in Lansing, Michigan.

Government Liaison
Interface with the State of Michigan (LARA) and Lansing-area building departments regarding permits, inspections, and compliance.

Document Management
Review and sign off on permit applications, technical drawings, and project completion documents for Lansing-based projects.

Project Oversight
Ensure all electrical work performed in Lansing, Michigan complies with the Michigan Electrical Code.

Site Visits
Conduct on-site inspections in Lansing only when necessary for permit sign-offs or complex technical reviews.

[Qualifications]

• Must hold a valid, active Michigan Master Electrician License in good standing
• Must qualify as a full-time W-2 employee under LARA requirements
• Strong understanding of Michigan Electrical Code and Lansing municipal permit processes
