Key Responsibilities

1. Training Excellence and Curriculum Development:

  • Design, implement, and lead advanced training programscovering a comprehensive range of makeup artistry, including:
  • Bridal Makeup: Traditional, contemporary, and long-wear techniques suitable for the local climate.
  • High-Fashion/Editorial Makeup: Advanced contouring, highlighting, and creative color applications.
  • Client Consultation & Sales: Training artists on effective communication to understand client needs and recommend appropriate retail products.
  • Conduct intensive, hands-on workshops and masterclasses focused on precision, speed, color theory, and flawless application techniques.
  • Develop detailed training materials, step-by-step guides, and practical assessments to ensure team proficiency meets luxury market standards.
  • Provide continuous, personalized mentorship to artists, setting clear performance goals and monitoring artistic growth.

2. Product Expertise and Inventory Management:

  • Act as the company expert on all makeup lines, tools, and accessories, leading in-depth product knowledge training.
  • Stay ahead of global beauty trends, seasonal color palettes, and new technologyin makeup application, integrating them immediately into the curriculum.
  • Manage and maintain the training kit inventory, ensuring all artists are trained on the correct professional tools and products.

3. Quality Control and Team Leadership:

  • Establish and enforce strict sanitation and hygiene protocols for all makeup applications, adhering to regional health standards.
  • Conduct regular quality control audits of services, ensuring consistency in artistry and client experience across all locations.
  • Collaborate with management on recruitment, helping to identify and onboard new artistic talent.
  • Serve as a visible brand representative, demonstrating the highest level of professionalism, client service, and artistic skill.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of active professional experience as a certified Makeup Artist in a high-end salon, studio, or recognized brand.
  • Proven certification from a reputable international Makeup Artistry Academy or institution.
  • A minimum of 2 years of mandatory experience in a training, educational, or supervisory capacity (e.g., teaching classes, brand education, or leading a team).
  • Demonstrated portfolio showing versatility across all key makeup categories (bridal, fashion, evening, and corrective makeup).
  • Advanced knowledge of skin preparation, lighting effects, and techniques for photography/video.
  • Exceptional command of English for clear instruction and communication (fluency in Arabic is a significant asset).
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the UAE.
