Master Handyman Contractor

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Master Handyman Contractor to lead and execute comprehensive maintenance and repair services across residential, commercial, and industrial facilities. This dynamic role requires a proactive leader who can manage multiple projects, supervise teams, and ensure all work meets safety standards and quality expectations. As a Master Handyman Contractor, you will be the go-to expert for troubleshooting, repairs, and facility improvements, driving operational excellence and customer satisfaction. Your expertise in mechanical systems, electrical work, welding, schematics interpretation, and facilities maintenance will be essential to keep properties in optimal condition and support our clients’ needs.

Duties

• Lead and supervise a team of skilled technicians in performing maintenance, repairs, and installations across various facilities.
• Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
• Perform or oversee tasks such as welding, electrical wiring, residential painting, carpentry, plumbing repairs, and general handyman services.
• Manage preventative maintenance schedules using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to ensure timely upkeep of equipment and infrastructure.
• Read and interpret technical schematics to troubleshoot systems such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in automation processes.
• Conduct facilities inspections to identify potential hazards or areas needing repair; implement corrective actions promptly.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about work progress and solutions while maintaining professionalism at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience supervising maintenance teams within manufacturing or facilities management environments.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on expertise in welding, electrical systems, schematics interpretation, and troubleshooting using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters.
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CMMS platforms, and schematics reading for automation or complex systems.
• Ability to perform residential painting along with general handyman tasks such as carpentry or plumbing repairs.
• Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate effectively with team members and clients.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a track record of managing multiple projects efficiently.
• Knowledge of facilities maintenance best practices including safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
• Experience working in manufacturing or industrial settings is preferred but not mandatory; a strong customer service orientation is essential.
