Master Refrigeration Technician

Metroplex is offering a $3,500 Sign-on bonus! Metroplex Refrigeration is seeking a Senior or Master Refrigeration Technician to service and maintain commercial ice machines and refrigeration equipment. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to safety and customer service in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Service commercial refrigeration systems, including:

Ice Machines.

Walk-in coolers and freezers.

Reach-in units.

Small self-contained equipment.

Beverage equipment.

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair medium- and low-temperature refrigeration systems with minimal supervision.

Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.

Respond to service calls, including participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.

Follow all safety protocols, especially when handling refrigerants.

Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients.

Operate company vehicles safely and use appropriate safety equipment.

Support additional geographic service areas as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC/refrigeration.

Strong ability to independently diagnose and repair mechanical systems.

Technical training through trade school, RSES, or equivalent experience.

Education:

High school diploma or GED; completion of an accredited HVAC/R apprenticeship or technical trade school program.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
