About the Role

ANDGARMENT TRADING AND TAILORING is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Tailor to join our growing production team. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in garment stitching, alterations, fitting, pattern understanding, and quality finishing for uniforms, customized apparel, and premium tailoring works.

The candidate should be capable of independently handling garment construction from cutting to final finishing while maintaining high-quality standards and production efficiency.

Salary & Benefits

• Total Salary: QAR 2,000 per month
• Basic Salary: QAR 1,700
• Food Allowance: QAR 300
• Accommodation Provided by the Company
• Transportation Provided by the Company
• Overtime as per company policy and Qatar Labor Law
• Annual Leave and other benefits as per Qatar Labor Law

Key Responsibilities

• Stitch and assemble garments with high-quality finishing standards.
• Handle uniforms, customized apparel, corporate wear, and tailored garments.
• Perform alterations, repairs, and size adjustments accurately.
• Read and understand garment measurements, patterns, and specifications.
• Ensure proper fitting and garment construction techniques.
• Operate industrial sewing machines and tailoring equipment efficiently.
• Monitor garment quality throughout the production process.
• Assist in sample development and production preparation.
• Maintain productivity targets and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with the production and design team when required.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of tailoring tools and workstations.
• Train or guide junior tailors when necessary.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Master Tailor in a garment factory, tailoring shop, or uniform manufacturing company.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction and tailoring techniques.
• Experience in handling different fabric types and industrial stitching methods.
• Ability to perform precise measurements and fittings.
• Knowledge of uniforms and customized apparel production is an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good teamwork and professional attitude.
• Immediate availability to join is highly preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in corporate uniforms, workwear, and premium tailoring.
• Knowledge of cutting and pattern adjustments.
• Ability to handle bulk production efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and finishing quality.
