Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Master Teacher to lead early childhood education initiatives and foster a nurturing, engaging learning environment for young children. In this vital role, you will develop innovative curriculum, implement best practices in classroom management, and support the development of children across various age groups. Responsibilities

  • Design and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that align with developmental milestones and educational standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
  • Lead dynamic classroom activities that promote active learning, curiosity, and social-emotional growth among children.
  • Manage classroom environments effectively to ensure safety, engagement, and positive behavior management strategies are in place.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and colleagues to support individual learning needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services.
  • Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor progress and tailor instruction accordingly.
  • Mentor and coach assistant teachers and new staff to uphold high-quality teaching practices and professional development standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of student progress, behavior management plans, lesson plans, and classroom observations to ensure compliance with educational policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Montessori Education or related field; advanced certifications preferred.
  • Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, including toddlers and early learners.
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies.
  • Experience developing curriculum content across multiple domains such as literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and special education needs.
  • Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and assessment tools used in early childhood education.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, staff, and community partners effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead lesson planning sessions and implement innovative teaching methods tailored to diverse learners.
  • Knowledge of early intervention practices and experience working with children requiring additional support is highly desirable.
