Master Trainer

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Manager, Operations Training and Communications, the Operations Master Trainer is responsible for implementing and overseeing training programs which ensure our warehouse team is equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in their roles. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and quality within our warehouse operations by ensuring applicable, consistent, and timely training and communication for all maintenance, quality, process, safety, and warehouse personnel.

Key Responsibilities:


1. Supports floor trainers to ensure process and policy compliance.

2. Works collaboratively with site leadership to execute training and communication initiatives.

3. Coordinates and conducts “train the trainer” sessions.

4. Provides translation support (verbal and written).

5. Conducts new hire and floor trainer onboarding.

6. Verifies and evaluates completion of floor trainer assignments.

7. Monitors performance and quality data to identify training opportunities and to measure effectiveness of executed training.

8. Performs an ongoing proactive analysis of the training needs within each team and role. This includes, but is not limited to, technical/skill development, on the job training (OJT), classroom instruction, equipment operation instructions, and performance development/improvement.

9. Maintains records of all training to ensure consistency in training execution.

10. Complies with internal reporting processes set forth by Manager, Training and Communications to track and record progress towards goals.

11. Performs additional duties as assigned by Manager, Operations Training and Communication.


Skills
and Qualifications:


1. 1-2 years lead experience in a distribution/warehouse environment.

2. Bi-lingual is required.

3. Working knowledge of all areas of warehouse and multiple types of operational equipment preferred, i.e., MHE equipment, compactor, etc

4. Demonstrated leadership abilities

5. Excellent communication skills

6. Positive attitude with a passion to engage with and develop others.

7. Able to multitask in a fast-paced work environment.

8. Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English and Spanish (other languages will be considered).

9. Able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where limited standards exist.

10. Can interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

11. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

12. Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Must Pass Background Chech
  • Bi-lingual is required. English/Haitian Creole, Spanish/Haitian Creole, or trilingual (all three).

Shifts Available:
  • B-shift 4pm-am
