Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Master's Level Clinician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health services to individuals, particularly focusing on children and families. This role involves conducting diagnostic evaluations, developing treatment plans, and delivering various therapeutic interventions in an outpatient setting. The Clinician will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations to assess patient needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices, including behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data protection.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions aimed at enhancing coping skills and emotional regulation.
- Deliver grief counseling and support to patients experiencing loss or trauma.
- Document patient progress accurately using ICD-9 coding for diagnoses and treatment records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and improve patient outcomes.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health care.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
- Valid licensure as a mental health professional (LCSW, LPC, or equivalent).
- Experience working with children and families is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in behavioral therapy techniques and motivational interviewing strategies.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and ethical standards in mental health practice.
- Ability to conduct effective group therapy sessions and foster a supportive environment for participants.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients.
