Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Master's Level Mental Health Therapist or Social Worker to join our mental health services team. This role involves providing comprehensive behavioral health support, clinical counseling, and case management to diverse patient populations. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis, and patient assessment, with experience in both individual and group therapy settings. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine mental health needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, or Christian counseling techniques as appropriate.
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions focused on mental health counseling, aging issues, geriatrics, and community care.
- Manage intake procedures, ensuring accurate documentation of patient histories and treatment goals.
- Maintain detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA standards and legal requirements.
- Coordinate case management activities to connect patients with community resources and support services.
- Monitor patient progress through ongoing evaluation and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Document all clinical interactions thoroughly in medical records, ensuring clarity and accuracy for continuity of care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic patient care that addresses behavioral health, social work needs, and medical considerations.
- Uphold confidentiality standards while managing sensitive information related to mental health and social services.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited program.
- Valid licensure or certification as required by state regulations (e.g., LCSW, LMFT).
- Experience in behavioral health settings with skills in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis, diagnostic evaluation, and case management.
- Proficiency in clinical counseling techniques including Christian counseling, psychodynamic therapy, and specialized areas such as geriatrics or aging issues counseling.
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations, medical terminology, medical documentation standards, and electronic medical records systems.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess individual needs effectively.
- Experience working with diverse populations in home & community care environments is preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team dedicated to patient well-being. This position is integral to delivering high-quality mental health services that promote recovery and resilience within our community.
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
