Master's Level Mental Health Therapist or Social Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Master's Level Mental Health Therapist or Social Worker to join our dynamic behavioral health team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals across diverse age groups, including children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. You will provide comprehensive mental health assessments, therapeutic interventions, and case management services in outpatient, inpatient, or telehealth settings. Your expertise will support clients dealing with a wide range of issues such as trauma, developmental disabilities, addiction, grief, and gender identity.   • Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to determine appropriate treatment plans.
  • Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions employing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
  • Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure client safety during emergencies.
  • Facilitate specialized therapies including PTSD care, grief counseling, addiction counseling, gender issues counseling, and working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and compliance.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for case management, patient care coordination, and research initiatives to enhance treatment outcomes.
  • Utilize telehealth platforms effectively for remote therapy sessions while managing ICD coding for billing purposes. Skills
  • Proven experience in psychotherapy techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and psychopharmacology.
  • Strong skills in motivational interviewing, crisis management, behavior management, and working with children or individuals with disabilities.
  • Expertise in medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), medical documentation, and HIPAA compliance.
  • Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations for mental health conditions including PTSD, chronic pain counseling, and gender issues counseling.
  • Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, inpatient settings, outpatient clinics, and telehealth environments.
  • Knowledge of special education practices and working with individuals on the autism spectrum or with developmental delays.
  • Excellent communication skills for intake assessments, patient education, research data collection, and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams. Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
