Business hours: 10:30 am to 8:00pm. We're especially looking for a person who are available to work on weekdays. This is not seasonal position.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide range of tea beverages with precision and care, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Engage with customers in a friendly, upbeat manner to recommend products and answer questions about tea options.
• Operate POS systems for accurate cash handling, sales processing, and transaction management.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by following proper food handling, preparation, and sanitation procedures.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and smooth café operations.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including serving light snacks or accompaniments in line with food safety guidelines.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, perform basic math calculations for sales totals, and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.

Experience

• Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is highly preferred, especially within café or retail environments.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in sales processing.
• Strong customer service skills with an energetic approach to engaging guests and creating a positive atmosphere.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in food handling and sales transactions.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, register balancing, and retail math calculations.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is essential for maintaining hygiene and quality standards.
