Job Summary

Mori’s is an Asian-inspired Matcha tea shop and light dining brand, specializing in high-quality matcha and thoughtfully crafted drinks. We are seeking a passionate, detail-oriented Tea Barista to join our Front of House team. The ideal candidate values consistency, cleanliness, and guest experience, and takes pride in preparing beverages with care and precision.

As a Tea Barista, you will be responsible for beverage preparation, customer service, and maintaining an organized and welcoming front-of-house environment.

Responsibilities -- FOH

Prepare and serve tea- and matcha-based beverages according to store recipes and SOPs

Customize drinks based on customer preferences while maintaining quality standards

Operate POS system accurately and handle cash and card transactions

Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service

Maintain cleanliness and organization of beverage stations, counters, and dining areas

Assist with light food preparation in compliance with food safety standards

Engage with customers by answering menu questions and offering recommendations

Monitor front-of-house inventory and communicate restocking needs to management

Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations

Work collaboratively with team members during peak service hours

Requirements

Previous café, tea shop, or food service experience preferred (training provided if needed)

Interest in tea, matcha, and beverage preparation is a strong plus

Comfortable using POS systems (experience with Aloha POS is a bonus)

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized procedures

Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Must be reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
