Position Overview

We are seeking a Material Coordinator to support our production and fabrication operations by managing the flow of materials from receipt to storage and delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory tracking, coordinating with quality and procurement teams, and ensuring materials are available for production activities.


Essential Responsibilities & Duties

  • Receive, unload, and stage incoming materials in coordination with inspection staff
  • Track and maintain inventory records with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Monitor material usage and communicate upcoming needs to supervisors
  • Work closely with procurement, production, and quality assurance to support workflow
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials to production areas as required
  • Assist in implementing processes that improve material handling efficiency
  • Conduct routine checks to confirm inventory accuracy
  • Maintain documentation in compliance with company quality procedures
  • Keep a clean and organized work area
  • Operate forklifts, telehandlers, and overhead cranes safely and effectively
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience operating forklifts, telehandlers, and overhead cranes
  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing 40 lbs or more
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in material coordination, warehouse, or inventory management
  • Familiarity with quality assurance processes in a production environment
  • Additional training or certifications in material handling or logistics
