• Extreme Attention to Detail: Essential for accurate inventory tracking, identifying discrepancies, and preventing material shortages.
• Organizational & Time Management Skills: Crucial for prioritizing urgent requests and managing multiple material flows simultaneously.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written skills for coordinating with suppliers, procurement teams, and site construction staff.
• Proactive & Problem-Solving Attitude: Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve material shortages before they impact the project schedule.
• Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle changing priorities. ERP Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems like SAP (MM module) or Oracle is highly sought after.
• Computer Literacy: Advanced or intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel are essential for data analysis, reporting, and tracking, along with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook).
• Documentation Control: Understanding of how to manage shipping documentation, packing lists, Material Receiving Reports (MRR), and Material Inspection Reports (MIR).
• Technical Drawing Interpretation: Ability to read engineering drawings, blueprints, or specifications to verify materials.
