JOB OVERVIEW
The Lead Material Coordinator is responsible for ensuring material readiness and inventory alignment to support production schedules and on-time engine builds. This role leads material coordination activities across assigned modules and engines, driving execution, visibility, and accountability for all material flow.The Lead Material Coordinator analyzes production demand to proactively identify material risks, prevent shortages, and maintain continuity of operations. Serving as a central point of coordination, this role partners closely with production, supply chain, engineering, and support shops to ensure seamless material availability and execution.
Key Responsibilities

Lead daily material coordination activities across assignedengine(s) andmodule(s), ensuring all required parts, consumables, and sub-assemblies are available to meet scheduled build dates

Review production schedules andcollaboratewith planning and operations leads todefinematerial requirements and priorities

Own and drive the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between support shops and warehouse locations based on production urgency

Monitor and manage inventory status by module, including material location, availability, and in-processcomponenttracking

Analyze demand requirements using production schedules,andstock levels,todeterminematerial quantities needed for work orders.
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Forklift operator certification preferred

Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and cultural awareness.

A good levelof computer literacy
Job Demands:
Work is performed in a Shop environment and requires the ability to perform extensive standing, driving, walking, and climbing; to lift up to 50lbs. regularly; to manipulate up to 100lbs. with assistance. Must be able to bend, stoop, climb to reach materials, and work in a noisy environment.
