Material Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

▪ Review, approve, and monitor all construction materials in accordance with project specifications and standards.
▪ Coordinate material submittals, approvals, and compliance with consultant requirements.
▪ Supervise material testing activities (soil, asphalt, concrete, aggregates, etc.).
▪ Ensure materials meet project quality, technical, and authority requirements.
▪ Coordinate with site, QA/QC, and laboratory teams.
▪ Review test results and take corrective actions when required.
▪ Ensure compliance with project quality plans and method statements.
▪ Prepare material-related reports and documentation.
▪ Liaise with consultants and authorities for material approvals.

Requirements:

✔ Minimum 7+ years of experience as Material Engineer in infrastructure and construction projects.
✔ bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or Materials Engineering.
✔ Strong knowledge of construction materials, testing standards, and specifications.
✔ Experience in roads, infrastructure, asphalt, and utilities projects preferred.
✔ Familiar with local authority requirements and consultant approvals.
✔ Strong analytical and documentation skills.
✔ Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple activities.
✔ Immediate joiners are highly preferred.
