Fluidra is seeking a Material Handler to join our team in Sparks, MD.
WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
As the Material Handler, this individual will be responsible for performing receiving, picking, stocking, replenishing, moving, and shipping operations. This requires the incumbent to cross train for critical operations. Additionally, you will:
  • Pull orders and assemble them using banding and shrink wrap machines for shipment to customers
  • Load and unload trucks and move material within the warehouse(s)
  • Route goods to the proper areas within the production area
  • Operate box truck to transport goods to satellite warehouse
  • Perform 5S as stated by department requirements at end of shift or when there is stoppage of work
  • Properly palletize parts and/or finished product for freight shipments, including wrapping and weighing of the pallet
  • Become in house certified on all forklift and industrial powered equipment
  • Prioritize tasks and effectively communicate with team members
  • Understand and utilize an ERP system to track inventory levels
  • Ensure work is kept clean and organized during the entire shift
  • Follow all Policies, Safety and Plant guidelines
  • Be responsible for reporting safety concerns and quality issues to Leads and/or Supervisors
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Lead and/or Supervisor
WHAT WE SEEK
  • Prior driving experience of a DOT-Regulated vehicle
  • Possession of a valid DOT Medical Card
  • Ability to read and understand shipping documents or equivalent.
  • Must be able to use a computer terminal, bar code reader, forklift, and pallet jack.
  • Possess the ability to lift up to 50 pounds

High School Diploma or equivalent

Expected hourly range is $21.00 – 22.00/hr.
