Material Handler

Job Summary

The Inventory / Material Handler is responsible for the efficient handling, movement, and management of raw materials, components, and scrap within the production and storage areas. The role ensures timely material supply to production, maintains workplace safety and organization, supports quality control, and assists in accurate inventory tracking and traceability.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely supply of raw materials and components to production by loading, unloading, and transferring materials to designated areas and machines.
• Support continuous machine operation by supplying materials as per production shift requirements.
• Maintain safety and organization in material handling zones by proper stacking of materials and following safety practices.
• Collect and process scrap materials, operate grinding machines, and maintain cleanliness in the grinding area.
• Check and record the weight of components to ensure quality consistency according to instructions.
• Reduce material wastage and support traceability by labeling and documenting material and component movement.
• Assist in maintaining stock accuracy through tagging, basic record-keeping, and reporting discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Report any machine malfunctions, blockages, or safety concerns immediately to the team leader or supervisor.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: 10+2 / ITI / Diploma (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
