Overview: Transport necessary raw materials to keep injection molding machine hoppers full of prepared resin.
Requirements:

Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division

Able to operate forklift

Requires ability to frequently lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift 100 pounds

Able to operate hand-held tools, including trimming knife, de-burring tool, jigs and fixtures

Good communication and teamwork skills

Maintain safe work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations, including wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Prefer prior plastic injection molding or manufacturing experience
Material Handler Responsibilities:

Correctly capture materials data, using barcode scanners and allocation module in ERP system.

Complete allocation location reconciliation as often as possible, as each job is completed.

Ensure all injection molding machine hoppers and barrels are full of correct, prepared resin.

Operate forklift to transport raw resins.
-
Demonstrate timely, effective communication with other team members to ensure efficient start-up and shut-down of production runs.

Keep warehouse organized and clean of spilled resin during the shift.

Clean up any resin spills in work areas that occur while loading material into the hoppers.

Maintain, store, and organize all documents pertaining to material certifications and as inventory control.

Clean hopper, press, grinder, filters, and loaders after a production run using proper equipment.

Assist production supervisor in giving breaks to Operators as needed.
