Material Handler- 1st Shift Loader and Unloader

Apache Mills, Inc., a worldwide leader in floor mat manufacturing, has immediate openings to join our growing company as a member of our Operations Team. We are seeking energetic, motivated individuals for our fast-paced receiving operations as Material Handlers. This position is a key piece of our supply chain. Material Handlers are regularly scheduled for Monday - Friday 1st shift, 7 am till finished. Require overtime based on containers scheduled to unload. May require Saturdays.

This position requires the ability to (this is not a complete job description):

• unload packages, materials, and pallets from arriving trucks by hand or with pallet jack
• left frequently items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• receive, unload, and distribute pallets of goods to the appropriate area of the warehouse
• stand, lift heavy items, and crouch for several hours a day
• work safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• meet or exceed company quality standard
• maintain regular and predictable schedule
• comply with company processes and procedures
• follow verbal and written instructions
• stand, walk, lift, bend, stoop, and reach while handling material or product
• work cooperatively, courteously, and respectfully with all team members, vendors, and visitors
• perform job duties in variable temperatures based on weather conditions (including hot weather)
• ensure good housekeeping of all areas on company premises
• successfully complete drug and background screenings
