POSITION SUMMARY:
Stages daily shipments to support customer requirements. Responsible for putting finished goods in their appropriate areas and maintaining FIFO. Staging material to assembly lines, and support machines, as well as putting finished product away all while maintaining FIFO.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Stage shipments daily to current customer requirements.
• Required to maintain FIFO with all material internal and external (Finished Goods Shipped Out)
• Responsible for stacking, staging, drying and retrieving proper dunnage needed for MFG.
Provide support to maintenance, 5S, engineering, sorts and other tasks needed with a forklift.

Education

• High School Diploma

Functional Experience

• Must be able to complete the Hi-Lex given forklift test.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Must have excellent attention to detail, and multitasking skills.
• Must have knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures
• Knowledge of pallet jacks, scales, wrapping machines printers and computer

Industry Experience

• Familiar with factory environment, moving equipment, parts movement.
• Familiar with ERP systems
• Familiar with safety in a factory environment.

Physical Requirements

• Often lifts, carries or moves objects up to 50lbs.

Core Competencies

• Safety conscious.
• Good work ethic.

Required Skills

• Minimum 1 year of forklift experience in a factory environment.
• Industrial Truck License required

Other Requirements

• Clothing and shoes must comply with current MIOSHA regulations and current dress code policy.
• Steel toed shoes required.
