Material Handler- Plastics Injection Molding

In’Tech Industries is looking for an excellent Material Handler to work Monday – Friday 6:30 am – 3:30 pm, to join our injection molding set up team!

Essential job functions:

1. Maintain the correct level of material in injection molding machines and material dryers.

2. Rotate material in molding machine hoppers at established intervals.

3. Participate in morning startup of injection molding machines.

4. Participate in end of the day shutdown of injection molding machines.

5. Review the production schedule with the setup technicians to determine which materials need to be dried for upcoming orders.

6. Monitor plastic material inventory and notify supervisor of low inventory.

8. Perform preventative maintenance on drying equipment (cleaning and changing filters).

9. Monitor drying equipment for proper function.

10. Perform moisture content checks on material before materials are used to mold parts.

11. Maintain a clean and organized work area with emphasis on safety, quality, efficiency, and utilization.

Essential job qualifications and requirements:

1. Must be able to perform general physical activities frequently during an 8 hour shift including pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, climbing, lifting, and balancing.

2. Must be able to stand and walk throughout an 8 hour shift.

3. Must be able to do heavy lifting greater than 50lbs frequently during an 8 hour shift.
