MATERIAL HANDLER - UMS KERDI BOARD LINE 1ST SHIFT (6AM-2:30PM)

Description:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Safe Forklift Operation to include loading of materials on trucks
• Perform material fulfillment and movement operations for production operations
• Support material transfer operations of finished goods to warehouse
• Support of incoming and outgoing goods
• Ensure that flow of products is consistent, and service is faultless by insuring incoming goods are stored in proper locations.
• Receive/Unload product delivery trucks at receiving dock without damage and ensure they are properly stored in their designated locations
• Maintain accurate shipping documents and receiving receipts.
• Collects information for damaged claims and communicates those damages to Supervisor
• Maintain good housekeeping in warehouse so floor is clean at all times
• Optimize space by ensuring that everything is in its place
• Participate in Accident/Incident Investigation
• Report any spills or Hazards to Supervisor
• Report any safety issues to Supervisor
• Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Certified industrial lift truck operator
• Above average computer competency and math skills
• Good communicator verbally and in writing

Experience:

• Experience in an industrial environment
• Experience with ERP-knowledge of Infor a plus
• Experience in a fast-paced Team oriented environment

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Represent UMS Mfg. in a professional, positive, and enthusiastic manner in all matters
• Comply with occupational safety regulations
• Work in shifts and overtime as required.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
