Material Handler/Local Driver

Job Overview
A Material Handler/Local Driver, where you will play a vital role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations and timely delivery of materials. This position combines hands-on materials handling with local driving responsibilities, supporting our commitment to seamless distribution and exceptional service.

Duties

Safely load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and to local job sites using heavy equipment such as forklifts and clamp trucks
Operate warehouse management systems to accurately pick, pack, and track orders
Assist with order picking and ensure accurate order fulfillment through precise inventory management
Conduct shipping & receiving activities, verifying shipments against documentation and inspecting for damages or discrepancies
Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to OSHA safety standards and mechanical best practices
Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment by performing regular safety inspections and adhering to OSHA regulations
Collaborate with warehouse supervisors on inventory control, materials handling procedures, and equipment maintenance

Experience

CDL License with Minimum 2 Years of experience
Proven warehouse distribution experience with knowledge of heavy equipment operation such as forklifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks
Prior experience in shipping & receiving, order picking, or construction environments preferred
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), and mechanical knowledge of warehouse equipment
Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following OSHA guidelines
Experience operating heavy equipment like forklifts or Clamp truck is highly desirable; certification is a plus
Strong understanding of materials handling processes including load & unload procedures and order fulfillment workflows

Pay: $25.00 per hour
