Job Description

We are seeking experienced Material Managers with proven exposure to BH equipment installation projects to manage site material activities and ensure smooth coordination between engineering, procurement, and site execution teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage material planning, receipt, storage, issuance, and tracking for BH equipment installation projects.
• Coordinate with installation and construction teams to ensure timely availability of materials at site.
• Verify materials against MR, PO, packing list, and delivery documents.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, material reconciliation, and consumption reports.
• Handle preservation, storage, and handling of critical BH equipment and spares as per OEM guidelines.
• Coordinate with vendors, logistics, and warehouse teams for material movement and clearance.
• Identify material shortages, damages, or discrepancies and report to project management.
• Ensure compliance with project procedures, QA/QC standards, and safety requirements.
• Support material handover, surplus management, and final project close-out documentation.
  
  

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Material Manager / Material Controller on installation projects.
• Mandatory experience in BH (Baker Hughes) equipment installation projects.
• Strong knowledge of material management systems, site logistics, and warehouse operations.
• Ability to read and understand MRs, BOMs, packing lists, and project documents.
• Experience working on oil & gas / power / industrial projects.
• Proficient in MS Excel and material tracking tools.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or equivalent.
• Prior experience working on UAE / Middle East projects is preferred.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
