Summary: **Responsible for daily Materials operations; including receiving, stocking, kitting, and other material movement. Coordinates and expedites the flow of material to Production and Engineering Jobs. Works with Engineering, Production, Depot, Test, Logistics, and Materials personnel. Performs manual and clerical duties to aid in meeting Production delivery schedules. Enters transactions into EPR system. Secret security clearance may be required.
**Responsibilities/Skills: **

Provides task related guidance and direction to other members of the department.

Transact incoming material onto Jobs or Stock, print receiving labels, and physically route to proper location (Kit or Bin.)

Transact Job to Job, and Job to Stock material from Production, print labels, and physically route to proper location (Kit or Bin.)

Review various ERP dashboards to identify problems prior to processing transactions.

May be required to perform more in-depth problem solving before processing transaction.

Assemble Job kits for Production, Engineering, and Depot.

Keep parts cage maintained in a clean, orderly, and secure manner.

Maintain inventory accuracy, and perform inventory audits to confirm accuracy.

Maintain high level of inventory security to prevent undocumented material removal.

Maintain hardcopy and electronics files and records related to Jobs, Kits, and Inventory.

Assist other departmental personnel with part availability information when requested.

Prioritize transactions and distribution of material to support production schedules.

Provide back up for Shipping/Receiving operation.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
-
Minimum High School Diploma or GED, with college degree preferred

Requires 5+ years related experience

Ability to recognize electronic and mechanical parts, and knowledge of part handling guidelines such as static sensitivity, shelf life, etc required

Ability to work with detailed documentation and attention to detail and accuracy required

Experience with ERP/MRP systems and MS Office highly preferred

Must have strong understanding of multi- level BOMs, parent-child relationships and hierarchical structure of assemblies.

Ability to obtain Secret security clearance.
