POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for ordering all raw materials for the plant. Will need to coordinate with the master scheduler to ensure all raw materials are here and approved in time for production. Need to create plan and follow up with purchasing/suppliers to schedule raw material deliveries. Keep up the open purchase order spreadsheet and communicate the delivery ETA’s and quality approval priority to the rest of the plant. Will be responsible for creating forecasts for all raw materials. Maintain inventory and other accountability records as listed below.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Create forecasts for all needed raw materials
- Create planned purchase orders in D365
- Approve planned purchase orders in D365
- Ensure all raw materials are received to support production schedule
- Make sure raw materials arrive in time to be tested and approved before needed for production
- Keep up the Open Purchase Order lines spreadsheet
- Maintain inventory records for raw materials
- Work with a team to complete BOM audits
- Ensure cycle counting raw materials is completed
- Support problem solving for inventory discrepancies
- Order and maintain inventory of non-raw material supplies to support the plant
- Continuous Improvement projects
- Complete Monthly PEAK
- Create pick lists and consumption sheets for production batches in D365
- Report as Finished all completed production batches in D365
- Communicate with co-workers, managers, customers, vendors, and others in a courteous and professional manner
- Abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions. The employee will be trained in the cGMP requirements applicable to their responsibilities. cGMP principles and practices will be applied in all work assignments. Abide by all applicable FDA and Quality standards
- Keep work areas clean and compliant with FDA regulations
- Follow all safety rules and wear appropriate PPE

Education
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
- ERP Experience
- D365 experience is a plus
