Materials Yard Operator

We are looking for a reliable, hands-on individual to help run daily operations at our materials yard. This role focuses on customer service, loading/dispensing materials, and keeping the yard organized and running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with material pickup (sealer, tack coat, gravel, mulch, etc.)
• Operate pumps and dispensing equipment (training provided)
• Handle payments using POS system (Square)
• Maintain accurate transaction records
• Monitor inventory levels and report when supplies are low
• Keep yard and work areas clean and organized
• Provide friendly, professional customer service at all times

Requirements:

• Dependable and punctual
• Good attitude and strong people skills
• Comfortable working outdoors and around equipment
• Basic math and ability to handle transactions
• Willingness to learn

Preferred (not required):

• Experience in construction, materials yard, or equipment operation
