ParCare Community Health Network (PCHN) is a not-for-profit New York State Article 28 Diagnostic & Treatment Center dedicated to delivering high-quality, affordable care to underserved communities. We provide comprehensive primary and specialty services with a strong focus on prevention and patient-centered care.

We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Maternal–Fetal Medicine Specialist to lead and expand our high-risk obstetrics program. This role includes co-managing complex pregnancies with our OB/GYN providers and serving as the primary interpreting physician for obstetric ultrasound across the practice.

Responsibilities, included but not limited:

Clinical Care

  • Provide consultative and co-management care for high-risk pregnancies (preconception to postpartum) following ACOG/SMFM guidelines.
  • Perform and interpret advanced OB ultrasounds (anatomy, growth, NT, cervical length, BPP, Dopplers).
  • Perform or supervise invasive prenatal diagnostic procedures (e.g., amniocentesis; CVS if applicable).
  • Manage maternal comorbidities including hypertension, diabetes, autoimmune, cardiac, renal, and infectious conditions.
  • Offer rapid-access consultations and same-day appointments for urgent referrals.
  • Participate in hospital-based consultations and collaborate with labor & delivery teams (laborist involvement optional).

Program Leadership

  • Serve as section lead for MFM; standardize pathways, protocols, and referral criteria.
  • Oversee ultrasound quality assurance and support credentialing for interpreting physicians.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives (e.g., diabetes follow-up, preeclampsia screening, aspirin prophylaxis).
  • Educate clinicians and staff through case reviews and guideline updates.

Operations & Compliance

  • Use eClinicalWorks (eCW) for documentation and imaging workflows; finalize notes/reads within 24 hours.
  • Collaborate with operations to optimize scheduling, access, and referral management.
  • Ensure accurate coding and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, OSHA, NYS).

Qualifications

  • MD/DO; ABOG board-certified in OB/GYN.
  • Board-eligible or board-certified in Maternal–Fetal Medicine.
  • Active or eligible NY medical license, DEA, and hospital privileges.
  • Strong proficiency in advanced OB ultrasound; experience with invasive diagnostics preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, patient-centered approach.
  • Familiarity with eClinicalWorks a plus (training available).

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $216.35 per hour
