Maternity cover for a Qualified Dental Nurse (implant & surgical experience preferred)

Edinburgh Dental is a well established, independently owned dental practice in the Newington, Edinburgh. We provide a wide range of services with a strong focus on implant, surgical and sedation dentistry within a calm, patient centred environment.

We are looking for an experienced, GDC registered dental nurse who is confident in their role, takes pride in their work, thinks ahead and understands the impact and the value they bring to the patient experience and clinical outcome.

Pay and Development:
Hourly rate from £14.50 - £16.00p/h depending on qualifications and experience.

Sedation and radiography qualifications are valued within our clinic. We actively encourage further development and provide genuine opportunities for progression within dental nursing.

Main Duties include:
Providing high quality chairside support and excellent patient care.
Delivering clear pre and post operative instructions (within GDC scope).
Intra-oral scanning (training available).
Decontamination and cross infection control.
Maintaining accurate clinical records.
Supporting the wider team where needed.

Hours:
Wednesday 8:15-19:15

Friday 8:15-18:15

These days are set however we are open to offering more days. This is for maternity cover that may lead to long term employment.
