Job Description – Mathematics and Physics Teacher (Female)

Location: FB Area, Al noor, North Nazimabad, North Karachi

Job Summary:

The Mathematics and Physics Teacher is responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and effective lessons that develop students’ mathematical understanding, problem-solving abilities, and analytical thinking. The teacher will adapt instructional methods according to the level Primary, Secondary, or O Level Preps to ensure that each student achieves academic excellence and confidence in Mathematics and Physics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver Mathematics and Physics lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum (Matric or Cambridge O Level).
• Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments appropriate to each grade level.
• Use interactive and engaging teaching strategies to enhance learning outcomes.
• Reinforce mathematical concepts through practical applications and real-life examples.
• Evaluate students through classwork, quizzes, and exams; maintain accurate performance records.
• Provide individualized support and remedial teaching to help struggling learners.
• Integrate digital tools and innovative methods to make lessons more effective.
• Prepare O Level Prep students for internal and external examinations (Cambridge assessments).
• Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
• Communicate student progress to parents and collaborate with colleagues for academic improvement.
• Participate actively in faculty meetings, workshops, and school events.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or in Physics, Education, or a related field.
• Teaching certification or diploma preferred.
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of modern teaching methodologies.
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with Cambridge O Level and/or Matric curriculum.
• Ability to motivate students and promote analytical thinking.

Experience Level:

• Primary Section: Experience teaching basic numeracy, arithmetic, and foundational math concepts.
• Secondary Section: Experience teaching algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and data handling.
• O Level Preps:Experience teaching Cambridge O Level Mathematics and Physics preparing students for external exams.
