The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated 6th Grade Math and Science Teacher to join a vibrant academic team. This role is perfect for an educator who thrives on inquiry-based learning and wants to spark curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving in middle school students.

What You’ll Do

• Design and deliver inquiry-driven lessons in Math and Science aligned with state standards.
• Create a student-centered classroom that encourages exploration, questioning, and discovery.
• Guide students through investigations, experiments, and project-based learning experiences.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Use technology and digital tools to enhance STEM instruction.
• Assess student learning through a variety of formative and summative assessments.
• Communicate regularly with parents, colleagues, and school leadership.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to strengthen best practices in STEM and inquiry-based instruction.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or a related field.
• Valid state teaching certification (or eligibility).
• Experience teaching 6th Grade Math and Science, with knowledge of inquiry-based methods.
• Strong classroom management and collaboration skills.
• A growth mindset and enthusiasm for working with middle school learners.
