Duties

• Prepare and deliver comprehensive math lessons tailored to students’ individual needs and skill levels
• Create an engaging classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation and curiosity
• Assess student progress regularly through quizzes, assignments, and discussions, providing constructive feedback
• Develop customized learning plans to support students struggling with specific concepts or topics
• Incorporate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance understanding and retention of mathematical principles
• Collaborate with colleagues to design curriculum improvements and share best practices
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress reports

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Education, or a related field; university experience is highly valued
• Proven experience in teaching or tutoring mathematics at various levels
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
