Math Instructor

Duties

• Follow and enhance engaging lesson plans tailored to diverse student needs across Pre-algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2.
• Incorporate modern learning technology, interactive tools, and data-driven instructional strategies.
• Deliver clear, motivating instruction in core mathematical concepts such as algebra, geometry, calculus, trigonometry, statistics, differential equations, and discrete math.
• Manage classroom dynamics effectively by implementing classroom management techniques that promote respectful engagement and active participation.
• Assess student progress regularly through quizzes, assignments, and exams; provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
• Utilize computer skills and learning technology platforms to enhance the educational experience and facilitate remote or hybrid instruction when needed.
• Maintain detailed records of student performance data, attendance logs, and other instructional documentation in compliance with institutional standards.

Experience

• Proven classroom experience across various age groups or educational settings; experience with early childhood education or preschool preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in teaching mathematics at different levels—elementary through higher education—including subjects like algebra, geometry, calculus, trigonometry, statistics, differential equations, and discrete math.
• Familiarity with curriculum development processes and integrating learning technology into lesson delivery.
• Strong background working with children or students of diverse backgrounds; experience with special education or working with students requiring additional support is advantageous.
• Knowledge of physiology and anatomy is beneficial for interdisciplinary STEM instruction involving biological sciences.
• Excellent computer skills with proficiency in educational software applications and online learning platforms.
• Ability to manage classrooms effectively while fostering an inclusive environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $47,000.00 per year
