Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement rigorous, standards-aligned lesson plans in math and science for elementary students
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, including hands-on experiments, digital tools, and visual supports
- Create and maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment through effective behavior management
- Assess student learning using formative and summative measures, including data-driven instruction and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with colleagues, instructional coaches, specialists, and families to support all learners, including students with exceptionalities
- Integrate literacy strategies into content instruction to strengthen reading, writing, and comprehension skills
- Provide targeted support through small-group instruction or tutoring
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives, extracurricular activities, and enrichment opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Elementary Education, or a related field (advanced degrees or certifications preferred)
- Valid teaching certification in Elementary Education
- Proven experience working with elementary-aged students across diverse learning needs
- Strong knowledge of K–5 math and science standards and curriculum development
- Experience using educational technology and digital learning platforms
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of classroom management strategies and best practices
- Ability to differentiate instruction for students requiring intervention or enrichment
- Experience in private or Montessori school settings is a plus

Pay: $56,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
