Math/ Science Teacher K-5 (2026-2027)

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement rigorous, standards-aligned lesson plans in math and science for elementary students
  • Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, including hands-on experiments, digital tools, and visual supports
  • Create and maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment through effective behavior management
  • Assess student learning using formative and summative measures, including data-driven instruction and progress monitoring
  • Collaborate with colleagues, instructional coaches, specialists, and families to support all learners, including students with exceptionalities
  • Integrate literacy strategies into content instruction to strengthen reading, writing, and comprehension skills
  • Provide targeted support through small-group instruction or tutoring
  • Contribute to school-wide initiatives, extracurricular activities, and enrichment opportunities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Elementary Education, or a related field (advanced degrees or certifications preferred)
  • Valid teaching certification in Elementary Education
  • Proven experience working with elementary-aged students across diverse learning needs
  • Strong knowledge of K–5 math and science standards and curriculum development
  • Experience using educational technology and digital learning platforms
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of classroom management strategies and best practices
  • Ability to differentiate instruction for students requiring intervention or enrichment
  • Experience in private or Montessori school settings is a plus

Pay: $56,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
