Math Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking to expand our team of dedicated and passionate staff to accommodate our growing academic program. This role is to support our current head teacher in the classroom in all aspects.

The ideal candidate will be a team player and knowledgeable in high school math, with a passion for teaching. Teaching experience or degree in math preferred.

This is a part-time position taking place on location in Queens, NY, on weekday afternoons, from December 2025 - June 2026. (Off days as per school calendar.)

Qualifications

• Experience teaching subject matter.
• Strong skills in behavior management and curriculum development.
• A genuine passion for teaching and nurturing young minds.
• Familiarity with NYS Regents exams.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; we will consider candidates with demonstrated math prowess and currently in senior year of a bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• co-teach and manage classes in Math in accordance with department goals and culture.
• Assist in curriculum development.
• Collaborate with lead teacher and administration in regards to student progress.
• Attend occasional school events, such as parent-teacher conferences.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
