Math Teacher -Secondary School

Dreaming Big Learning Center & Christian School, is now accepting applications for a Mathematics Secondary School teacher (teaching grades 5th-12th).

Applicants must be compatible with teaching in a Christian school.

All applicants for employment are required to meet the following criteria:

• Pass required background screenings
• Have a Bacherlors Degree and experience in Education.

Description:

At DBLC, a teacher is responsible for the education and safety of his or her students. Tasks include, but are not limited to, providing academic instruction in small group or individual settings, assisting students with setting goals and completing course work, grading tests, maintaining accurate records of student attendance and grades, and communicating with parents, lesson planning,etc. In addition to agreeing to the school’s Employee Code of Christian Conduct, a candidate for the position must have excellent communication and organizational skills, be detail-oriented, be able to work well with a team, be creative, and have understand that teachers are role model and are still a big influence on their students. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is preferred, as is previous experience with a Christian education curriculum. Applicants must satisfactorily complete required background check process and all employment documents.

Qualifications:

• BA degree in Education
• 1 year of experience working in a school setting
• Maintains a current certificate for adult/child/infant First Aid/CPR course
