Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive online math lessons tailored to students’ individual learning needs across grades 1 to 8, covering topics such as algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, statistics, and differential equations.
• Develop and adapt curriculum materials that align with educational standards and incorporate modern learning technology tools to enhance student engagement.
• Utilize effective classroom management techniques to create a positive virtual learning environment that encourages participation and curiosity.
• Assess student progress regularly through assignments and interactive activities, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with parents, guardians, or school coordinators to communicate student achievements and address any learning challenges.
• Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, student performance data, and instructional outcomes to ensure accountability and ongoing curriculum refinement.
• Stay current with advancements in educational technology, teaching methodologies, and subject-specific knowledge such as organic chemistry, microbiology, genetics, or computer science to deliver high-quality instruction.

Skills

• Strong expertise in mathematics including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, statistics, discrete math, and differential equations.
• Proven experience in curriculum development and lesson planning tailored for diverse grade levels (1–8).
• Familiarity with learning technology platforms and digital tools used for online teaching and student engagement.
• Excellent tutoring skills with the ability to work effectively with children and young adolescents in a virtual setting.
• Knowledge of classroom management strategies suitable for remote education environments.
• Solid computer skills including proficiency with educational software and data management systems.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and patiently while fostering a supportive learning atmosphere.
• Experience in higher education teaching or adult education is advantageous but not required.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
