Math Tutor (Grades 4–8) – Part-Time/Contract

Foundational Skill Builders is an innovative tutoring company that helps students master math through our proven 3P Mastery Method (Pinpoint, Practice, Polish). We specialize in building strong foundational skills for Grades 4–8 students, ensuring confidence, accuracy, and long-term success in math.

Position Overview:
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Math Tutors to join our growing team. The role involves teaching small groups or individual students, guiding them through problem-solving strategies, and helping them achieve mastery in foundational math concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach math lessons (Grades 4–8) using the 3P Mastery Method.
• Conduct engaging online classes.
• Provide clear explanations, practice activities, and personalized feedback.
• Track student progress and communicate with parents as needed.
• Collaborate with the team to improve instructional methods.

Qualifications:

• Strong background in mathematics (Bachelor’s in Education, Math, or related field preferred).
• Prior teaching/tutoring experience with elementary or middle school students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable teaching online via Zoom/Google Classroom.
• Patient, encouraging, and able to adapt to different learning styles.

Job Type:
Part-Time / Contract (Flexible scheduling)

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate (based on experience).

• 5–6 classes per week (1 hour each)
• Evening availability preferred
