Math Tutor (Grades 6-10, part-time)

Join Our Team: Part-Time Math Tutors Needed in Phoenix/Scottsdale!

Do you love making math click for students? We’re looking for personable, committed educators to provide in-home math tutoring for middle and high school students. Our company takes a whole-child approach and partners with wonderful families throughout Paradise Valley, Scottsdale, and the Phoenix metro area.

This is an excellent fit for educators who are looking to build long-term, meaningful relationships with students and families while maintaining a flexible, part-time schedule. Hours will build gradually based on your availability and client needs, typically ranging from 5–10 hours per week during after-school and early evening hours.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide in-home math tutoring for students in grades 6–10
• Support students in Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, and/or Algebra II
• Help with homework, study skills, and test preparation
• Partner with students to set goals and track progress
• Communicate student growth and areas for improvement to parents
• Deliver feedback that encourages confidence and independence

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• AZ teaching certification
• Several years of teaching or tutoring experience in Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, or Algebra II
• Strong alignment with a whole-child educational philosophy
• Current fingerprint clearance card (or willingness to obtain one)
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with students and parents
• Reliable transportation for in-home sessions
