Math Tutor- (Special Needs Adult)

Job description

Actual Solutions Tutoring has an immediate need for a tutor who is open to working with an adult learner with disabilities.

• Location: Old Bridge, NJ Public Library (IN- PERSON)
• Time Commitment: 1.5 hours per week (in one block of time)
• Availability of Client: Thursdays (any time), Saturdays after 11am, most evenings after 5PM except for Mon., Potential for other flexibility, as well
• Additional Details: Client is studying to take a Para Pro exam to be a para-professional in her public school district. She needs help with the math portion such as word problems, fractions and decimals. Repetition works well for her along with tricks to help her retain what she is learning.

• Understand the importance of tutoring and ability to personalize lessons.

• Must have reliable form of transportation.
