Duties
- Design and implement customized lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and individual student needs in math and coding subjects
- Utilize various learning technologies to enhance understanding of complex concepts such as algebra, geometry, calculus, data structures, machine learning, and organic chemistry
- Deliver engaging tutoring sessions to students of different age groups, including early childhood education, school-aged children, and adult learners
- Assess student progress regularly and adapt instructional strategies to optimize learning outcomes
- Manage classroom environments effectively, fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere conducive to active participation
- Collaborate with parents, educators, or program coordinators to support student development and address specific learning challenges
- Maintain detailed records of tutoring sessions, student achievements, and areas for improvement
Requirements
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching mathematics, computer science, or related STEM fields such as electrical engineering, chemical engineering, microbiology, or biochemistry
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development and lesson planning across various levels of education including higher education and special education settings
- Familiarity with learning technology tools and digital platforms used for remote or classroom instruction
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with children, students with special needs, or adult learners
- Solid understanding of core concepts such as trigonometry, differential equations, statistics, organic chemistry, genetics, anatomy knowledge, and data structures
- Ability to manage classroom environments confidently while maintaining engagement and discipline
- Computer skills necessary for creating instructional materials and tracking student progress

Pay: $24.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
