Mathematics Support Coach (Part-Time)

Position Overview

ASK For Tutoring invites applications from qualified and committed professionals to join our team of educators as a Mathematics Support Coach. This position is well suited for individuals who are dedicated to empowering middle school students and fostering both their mathematical skills and self-confidence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality mathematics instruction to students in Grades 7–8
• Provide instructional support in small-group and one-to-one instructional settings
• Implement engaging, student-centered methodologies to strengthen core math concepts
• Work in partnership with ASK For Tutoring staff to monitor student progress and modify instructional strategies as necessary
• Utilize online platforms such as Zoom or Google Classroom as necessary; prior experience is preferred but not required

Schedule

Evening sessions on:

• Monday & Wednesday, 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM
• Tuesday & Thursday, 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Teacher Certification preferred, but not required
• Graduate students pursuing degrees in Mathematics, Middle Grades Education, or Secondary Mathematics are encouraged to apply
• Experience working with youth in academic or enrichment settings is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to student success

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
