Mathematics Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching and Learning:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging math lessons in line with the school’s curriculum.
• Use a range of teaching strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Incorporate technology and real-world applications to enhance mathematical understanding.
• Differentiate instruction to accommodate varying levels of ability and learning styles.

Assessment and Reporting:

• Design and implement formative and summative assessments to track student progress.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their learning.
• Maintain accurate records and report student achievement to parents and school leadership.

Classroom Management:

• Establish and maintain a safe, respectful, and productive classroom environment.
• Promote positive behavior and classroom routines that support learning.

Professional Responsibilities:

• Participate in departmental meetings, planning sessions, and school-wide professional development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and develop curriculum resources.
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and staff regarding student progress and wellbeing.
• Contribute to the broader life of the school, including extracurricular activities and events.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics
• Teaching qualification/certification
• IELTS Score of 6.5
• Minimum 3 years of relevant teaching experience
• Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for teaching and assessment
