Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Mathematics Teacher - Middle Years to join our Academics Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics, experience in teaching middle school students, and the ability to foster logical reasoning, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging mathematics lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum.
• Teach core math concepts, including algebra, geometry, fractions, decimals, ratios, and introductory statistics.
• Encourage problem-solving, logical reasoning, and application of math in real-life situations.
• Use hands-on activities, visual aids, and technology to enhance student understanding of abstract concepts.
• Assess, record, and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Prepare lesson plans, learning resources, and classroom displays to support instruction.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate mathematics into cross-curricular and STEM projects.
• Incorporate digital tools and interactive platforms to enrich math learning experiences.
• Maintain an inclusive and disciplined classroom environment that supports student engagement.
• Ensure compliance with school policies and educational standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of teaching experience at the middle school level.
• Strong knowledge of mathematics pedagogy and child-centered teaching approaches.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students and parents.
• Ability to inspire a positive attitude toward mathematics and problem-solving.
• Strong classroom management, organizational, and assessment skills.
• Familiarity with educational technology and interactive math teaching tools.
