The PGT Mathematics teacher will be responsible for teaching Mathematics to senior secondary classes (Grades 11th & 12th) in accordance with CBSE curriculum guidelines. The role involves preparing engaging lesson plans, fostering analytical thinking, and supporting students in achieving academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
- Teach Mathematics to senior classes, ensuring conceptual clarity and problem-solving skills.
- Evaluate, record, and report on students’ progress through assessments, tests, and assignments.
- Prepare students for board examinations with effective revision plans and practice sessions.
- Incorporate innovative teaching methods, including the use of technology and digital tools.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher interactions, and school events.
- Identify students’ strengths and areas of improvement and provide remedial support where required.
- Stay updated with curriculum changes and pedagogical advancements.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Mathematics from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. is Mandatory.
- Minimum 4–6 years of experience teaching Mathematics at senior secondary level (CBSE preferred).
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong command of subject matter and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to make Mathematics engaging and accessible to all learners.
- Proficiency in using digital tools, smart boards, and online teaching platforms.
- Good classroom management and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical, patient, and approachable personality.
