Maths Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students. This role involves developing and implementing engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and supporting the academic growth of each student. The Mathematics Teacher will work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and ensure the success of all learners.

Duties

• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
• Teach mathematics concepts effectively to students, ensuring clarity and understanding.
• Assess student performance through standardized testing, quizzes, and assignments, providing constructive feedback.
• Manage classroom behavior and create a supportive environment conducive to learning.
• Collaborate with special education staff to accommodate students with diverse needs, including early intervention strategies.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational best practices in mathematics instruction.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
• Participate in school events and contribute to the overall school community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field; teaching certification preferred.
• Experience working with children in an educational setting, particularly in early childhood or preschool environments.
• Strong understanding of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques.
• Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management strategies.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Experience in tutoring or providing individualized instruction is a plus.
• Knowledge of Montessori methods or private school experience is advantageous but not required.
• A passion for teaching mathematics and fostering a love for learning among students.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹52,170.93 - ₹62,829.51 per year
